Welcome Annie Blaker to Guernsey - our new boat to support Access Challenger with cruises around the coast of the islands. Bring a picnic, drinks and swimming gear.

          About the boat

Annie Blaker was launched in 1989 and stationed at the RNLI station at Wicklow on the east coast of Ireland. She is 47 feet long and weighs in at 25 tons. She was well loved by her crew and saved 408 lives in her 30 years of service. Annie was the last Tyne Class Lifeboat to be owned and run by the RNLI. After being decommissioned in 2019, following an emotional send off by her grateful crew she was purchased by an enthusiast and moored in Portishead where we found her in 2022. In February 2023 she was taken by lorry from Portishead to Plymouth, launched and motored to Salcombe. The next day she didn't miss a beat on her cross channel voyage to her new home.  Annie is now licensed to carry up to 12 passengers and will turn heads around Guernsey and the other islands on cruises and charters.
